These daybooks contain the daily business transactions of the printing office founded in Williamsburg, VA by William Parks (1730), run by William Hunter (1750-1761), and taken over by Joseph Royle in 1761. Includes sales of and advertising in the newspaper "Virginia Gazette," sale of books and other reading material, and postage costs (as the newspaper office was also the Williamsburg post office).
